GENERAL DESCRIPTION |
Hilton MA-150 is a powerful amplifier and mixer in one small package. Two auxiliary inputs for music and four microphone inputs feed the signal to the internal power amplifier section.
CASE AND
CHASSIS: Measuring only
10 - 5/8" deep and 9 - 1/2" wide and standing
only 2 -1/3" high, the MA-150 will fit inside most
attaché cases. Weight of the unit is 6 1/2 pounds.
Although small in size, the MA-150 will deliver a
generous 150 watts of peak power. This is the same power
as one channel of a Hilton AC-300. The black all-metal
outer case makes this unit extremely rugged and good
looking.
MUSIC SOURCES:
The MA-150 has two independent auxiliary inputs,
accepting a wide variety of signal sources, such as: Laptop Computer,
MP3 player, Cassette deck, Compact Disk (CD), Mini Disc, or keyboard.
Each auxiliary input has a control for adjusting the
input level and a balance control for two track play
back. By using a Hilton remote microphone cable the volume of the music
program may be increased or decreased from the microphone.

PRE-AMPLIFIER: The two auxiliary inputs feed into the music section. The pre-amplifier produces the sound quality which you can get only from a Hilton. Separate volume, bass, and treble controls for the music are adjusted to provide the best sound quality. Adjusting these controls for the music does not affect the voice program.
Four identical high impedance microphone inputs are provided, each with its own volume and tone control. The Hilton circuitry produces extremely crisp and clear voice reproduction, so that commands and cues stand out clearly over the music.
EXTERNAL POWER: Located on the top deck are two switched and fused AC receptacles. These outlets are convenient for plugging in external devices requiring AC power (Laptop Computer, CD players, MP3 players, MiniDisc, Wireless Microphones, etc.). The receptacles are spaced to accept the power packs often used by these types of systems.
OUTPUTS: A monitor output jack is located in the front panel. A level control is provided and may be switched to monitor the music or the voice program. Two 1/4" speaker output jacks are located on the rear panel. Also on the rear panel are two phono (RCA) jacks, one for high (line level) and one for low (mic level) outputs. These jacks provide a combined music and voice signal for recording, hooking to an external amplifier, assistive listening device or any other desired use.
VOLTAGE: Standard computer type AC power cord. Fused entrance module with off/on switch is easily changeable for 100, 120, 230 and 240 volt operation. MOV ® spike protection built-in. A power "ON" light is located on the front panel. Will operate on either 50 or 60 Hz current with no modification necessary.
