INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLING METER

CIRCUIT BOARD - AC-300

Locate the handle cover (where the initials are installed), slide a screwdriver under the end of the handle cover and pry it off, exposing two bolts which hold the handle on. Remove these two bolts. On the opposite side of the unit, locate the two rubber feet. Remove the bolts which hold the rubber feet on. Slide the entire unit out of the case, holding down on the red reset button as you slide it out of the case.

Stand the unit on it's rear panel with the transformer down. Remove the 8 6-32 x 1/4 screws holding the heat radiation plate in place and remove this plate.

Unsolder the two black wires going to the heat sensor on the main amplifier board. (the one on the right). Remove the 4 5/16 kep locking nuts from the base of the main amplifier board by using a 5/16 socket or hex driver. (do not try to take out the bolts) Do not remove the 6-prong power plug from the main amplifier board.

Lay the board aside to expose the small printed circuit board which is mounted on the back of the meter. Remove the red cap from the meter terminal and then remove the two 11-32 brass nuts from the rear of the meter.

Remove the old meter board and solder the leads to the new circuit board. Do these one at a time to make sure the polarity is the same. Mount the new meter board on the rear of the meter using the same hardware. Reinstall the red cap on the meter terminal closest to the center of unit. Use Silicon sealant to hold it in place.

Reinstall the main amplifier board, using the original hardware. (Be sure that the main amplifier board is raised as high away from the meter board as possible before tightening the 4 5/16 locking nuts.

Re-solder the two black wires to the heat sensor on the main amplifier board (polarity is not important) Reinstall the heat radiation plate and put the unit back into the case, bolting it down with the appropriate hardware.

Please return the old board to us.
