INSTRUCTIONS FOR ADJUSTING SPEED CONTROL MODEL AC-300

Locate the handle cover and slide a screwdriver under the end of it and pry it off. Take the two screws out that are under the handle cover and the handle will come off. On the opposite side of the unit, locate the two rubber feet. Remove the screws which hold the rubber feet on. Take off the turntable and set it off to the side. The entire unit will now slide out of the case.

Make sure the tone arm is locked in its resting clip.

Turn the unit up side down on foam or a soft cushion of some type.

Locate the center of the turntable spindle well. Locate the speed adjustment plate (see sketch below). Loosen the two screws indicated and move the speed control knob in the direction needed to correct the speed setting while holding the speed adjustment plate in place. Tighten the screws again, replace the turntable and check the speed. If you don't get it right the first time, repeat the adjustment procedure.

Make sure the screws are tight before you re-assemble the unit.
