INSTRUCTIONS FOR REMOVING AMPLIFIER FROM CASE
and REPLACE THE DIODE PACK. AC-300, AC-300A, & AC-300B
Slide a screwdriver under the chrome handle cover and snap it off, exposing the two screws which hold the handle in place. Remove these screws. On the opposite side of the unit, locate the two rubber feet. Remove the screws that hold these two feet in place.
Before removing the amplifier from the case take off the platter and set it off to the side. Also, make sure the tone arm is locked in it's clip. The entire unit will now slide out of the carrying case. Be careful that the circuit breaker does not hang up on the case when removing the amplifier.
The diode pack is located near the heavy black power transformer near the rear of the amplifier. Make note of how the diode pack is oriented in the machine and then unplug it. Plug in the one sent to you.
You are now ready to put the amplifier back in its case and check it out.
Please contact us immediately if this did not fix the problem with your system. If your system is now back in working order please return the defective diode pack to us.
