INSTRUCTIONS FOR CHANGING OUTPUT BOARD IN MICRO 100

Stand the unit up (carrying position) and locate the chrome handle cover. Slide a screwdriver under one end of the handle cover and it will pop off. Remove the two bolts holding the handle in place. On the opposite side are two rubber feet. Take the bolt out of each of the rubber feet. The whole unit will slide out of the case.

Lift the turntable out of the spindle and set it aside. Make sure the tone arm is locked in its clip. Turn the unit upside down on a soft cloth or pillow, orienting it so that the speaker jack is toward the back and the front panel is nearest you.

You are now ready to replace the heat sink and output power section of the Micro-100. Carefully note the exact orientation of the connectors on the circuit board and then remove connectors. A sketch help insure it is reconnected properly might help. Next remove the 5 screws from the side of the system that hold on the aluminum heat sink and output circuit board. Remove the defective one and install the one sent to you using the same 5 screws. Reconnect the connectors to the circuit board.

At this point you are ready to reverse the instructions to take the unit out of the case and reinstall it into the case. Once this is done try out the system to insure all is back in full working order.
