INSTRUCTIONS FOR REPLACING PREAMP BOARD ON MICRO 75

There are five bolts which hold the entire assembly together. Two are on the right side, two are on the left side and one is on the top, directly under the turntable, near the center from right to left and located 3/4" back from the front edge.

On the left side, one bolt is located 1/2" from the front and the other is located 3/8" from the back. On the right side, one bolt is located 1/2" from the front and the other is located 3/8" from the back. Remove all 5 of these bolts and the top will separate from the bottom. Disconnect the green 10 prong plug from the power supply and the RCA plug from the jack on the side of the set below the tone arm.

To remove the output amplifier board, remove the socket, remove the four nuts holding the heat sink in place, remove the heat sink, unsolder the two connections to the thermal cutout and then remove the bolts holding the board in place.

Removing the Preamp Board: The output board must be removed before removing the pre-amp board. Remove the two round spacers holding the 6 prong connector on edge or pre-amp board, disconnect connector, remove knobs, grounding springs on shafts, hex nuts holding pre-amp in place, and then remove the pre-amp. When re-installing pre-amp, place mini plug of remote in the remote jack before tightening hex nuts on controls to assure it is centered in the opening.
