INSTRUCTIONS FOR CHANGING OUTPUT BOARD IN MICRO 75A

Stand the unit up (carrying position) and locate the chrome handle cover. Slide a screwdriver under one end of the handle cover and it will pop off. Remove the two bolts holding the handle in place. On the opposite side are two rubber feet. Take the bolt out of each of the rubber feet. The whole unit will slide out of the case.

Lift the turntable out of the spindle and set it aside. Make sure the tone arm is locked in its clip. Turn the unit upside down on a soft cloth or pillow, orienting it so that the speaker jack is toward the back and the front panel is nearest you.

Locate the heat sensor located between the two 40411 output transistors. Unsolder the two wires leading to the heat sensor. With a sharp knife or razor blade, cut the clear plastic that is holding the connector socket to the board and unplug the connector. Remove the 4 nuts holding the board to the chassis and take out the old board. Install the board we sent you and re-assemble the unit in reverse order of the way you took it apart. Put a drop of clear silicone seal where the connector and the board come together to keep it from vibrating off.
