INSTRUCTIONS For CHANGING M-75B OR M-75C POWER SWITCH
REMOVE FROM CASE
Stand the unit up (carrying position) and locate the chrome handle cover. Slide a screwdriver under one end of the handle cover and it will pop off. Remove the two bolts holding the handle in place. Lay the unit down (normal playing position) and take off the lid. On the opposite side from the handle are two rubber feet. Take the bolt out of each of the rubber feet.
Before removing the amplifier from the case take off the platter and set it off to the side. Also, make sure the tone arm is locked in it's clip. The entire unit will now slide out of the carrying case.
SWITCH REPLACEMENT
Note the wiring of the old switch. The two wires on the end of the switch, normally red and white, go to the light. The two on the side, normally black, are the power line.
Remove the wires and old switch
The new switch is larger than the old one and you will have to drill out the mounting hole to ½ inch.
The new switch has a plastic insulation/separator sleeve on the end. Remove the sleeve and be sure to feed the wires through the correct opening before connecting. Wire as below.
