INSTRUCTIONS FOR ADDING TAPE PLAYBACK SWITCH MIRCO 75-A, B, OR C
REMOVING CHASSIS FROM CASE
Stand the unit up (carrying position) and locate the chrome handle cover. Slide a screwdriver under one end of the handle cover and it will pop off. Remove the two bolts holding the handle in place. Lay the unit down (normal playing position) and take off the lid. On the opposite side from the handle are two rubber feet. Take the bolt out of each of the rubber feet.
Before removing the amplifier from the case take off the platter and set it off to the side. Also, make sure the tone arm is locked in it's clip. The entire unit will now slide out of the carrying case.
LOCATING THE SWITCH
When choosing the location for the switch:
1. Be sure the switch will clear the normal swing of the counter weight of the tone arm.
2. Insure there is Clarence for a 12" 33 RPM record.
3. The switch should be located close to the Tone Arm and Jack.
WIRING
The monitor music jack has two wires on its center connector.
Remove the center conductor of the wire going to the preamplifier and solder it to the center lug of the switch.
Remove the wire coming from the tone arm, (red or center wire, wires) and solder it to one end lug on the switch.
Add a wire from the monitor music jack to the other end of the switch.
