REPLACING THE TRANSFORMER IN A MICRO-75B OR 75C

INSTRUCTIONS FOR REMOVING MICRO 75-B OR 75C CHASSIS FROM CASE

Stand the unit up (carrying position) and locate the chrome handle cover. Slide a screwdriver under one end of the handle cover and it will pop off. Remove the two bolts holding the handle in place. Lay the unit down (normal playing position) and take off the lid. On the opposite side from the handle are two rubber feet. Take the bolt out of each of the rubber feet.

Before removing the amplifier from the case take off the platter and set it off to the side. Also, make sure the tone arm is locked in it's clip. The entire unit can now be taken out of the wood carrying case.

TRANSFORMER

The replacement transformer does not have solder lugs on it like the old transformer. The three lug solder strip can be mounted on the screw that holds the ac receptacle in place.

The leads for the on/off switch light will have to be spliced to the extra yellow wires coming from the secondary plug.

Refer to the diagram for wiring.

Note: the brown wire on the primary is not terminated.
