This Hilton Attenuator is used to drop a line level signal to a microphone level signal for playing into a mic input on your Hilton Mixer/Amplifier. The input is a single RCA jack. The output is a 1/4" Mono plug.
The Hilton Attenuator is commonly used by round dance cuers who have recorded music on one channel and vocal cues on the other channel. They would play the music through a music input or "Aux" jack, and then adjust the vocal cue volume separately using the Hilton Attenuator into one of the mic channels.
These are custom made, in small quantities, which is why they are fairly pricey.
