In 1956, Jim Hilton introduced the first Hilton amplifier for square dance callers. He founded the company with twin goals. Excellent customer service, and continually improving the product. Dick and Vicky Henschel continued this tradition when they bought the company from Jim in the 1986.

In August 2014, Hilton Audio Products of California, Inc., became Hilton Audio Products of Texas, LLC., when new owners, Paul and Mary Ellen Cote purchased the company and moved it to their home town of Houston, Texas.

Mary Ellen and I intend to continue to offer the same excellent customer service and long-lasting, high quality products that have been available at Hilton for nearly 60 years. We will continue the Hilton name for future generations of callers, cuers, and dance leaders. Thank you for the opportunity to be of service to the activity that we love.
